Adults and children 1 year and older use 4 sprays per day or as directed by your healthcare provider.Caution:Do not use If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), vitamin K (menaquinone), or any of the other components of the formulation (see Contents of the pack and other information).
Do not use if have high blood levels of calcium (hypercalcemia).
Do not use if taking Warfarin or any other blood thinners.
Do not use if you have a kidney disorder or reduced kidney function.
Do not use if you have been diagnosed with atherosclerosis (calcification of the arteries), histoplasmosis (lung infection caused by a specific fungus), overactive parathyroid glands, lymphoma (cancer of the cells of the lymph system), or tuberculosis.
The absorption of vitamin K in PHYTOMIST VITAMIN D3 & K2 requires the presence of bile. If you have a biliary disorder, you may require co-administration of bile salts to ensure adequate absorption of vitamin K; please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
You need to strictly adhere to the dosage instructions if you are receiving haemodialysis. Excessive intake of vitamin K has been associated with soft tissue calcification in patients on haemodialysis.
Soft tissue calcification may lead to lumps, bone or joint pain, limitation of range of motion, muscle pain or fatigue, or muscle cramping. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
