ZEST & HEALTH
The definition that ‘Health’ is the absence of disease or sickness, might be valid, however a person may be very far from the glowing, energetic reality of true health. The journey to true health needs a broader approach. The ancient idea that healing is most effective when you consider the whole person is becoming more apparent. As Socrates said in the 4th Century B.C, “the part can never be well unless the whole is well.”
At Zest Health, we consider bio-molecular nutrition as the foundation of health. This is looking at how nutrients interact with the body at a molecular level. In this way health can be enhanced and diet related conditions can be treated. Nutrients are multipurpose molecules. They don’t only fill one specific role in the body. We look at the many functions these key substances perform throughout the body, and identify the body’s needs based on that evaluation. Looking at clinical nutrition from a functional perspective means understanding the roles of these molecules in human beings, and then adapting the applications of these molecules to meet the unique genetic and environmental needs of each patient. Imbalances can lead to changes with the normal functions of the body, which then becomes precursors to the signs and symptoms that are diagnosed as organ system disease.
Whole foods alone, although highly desirable, are unfortunately not sufficient to meet all our nutritional requirements. Despite a perfectly balanced diet, there is still a need for additional supplementation to obtain optimal health due to various factors resulting in deficiencies in our food.
Zest Health moves beyond the traditional emphasis on isolated nutrient deficiencies and RDA guidelines. When our health is not in good condition, our body will automatically give out certain alarms, such as fatigue, body aches, headaches, insomnia, lack of appetite, depression, anxiety, stress, fear, bad temper, palpitations, dizziness, inertia and so on. People who have these symptoms are determined to be in sub-health condition.
Is sub-health detectable? The answer is yes. Nutrient deficiencies and organ function can be tested on our Quantum Magnetic Resonance Analyser.
